We have to cancel our puppy social as Nori is having difficulty with a mammary gland.  She was blessed with a mammary gland that does not have the accompanying nipple.  Hence as her milk is coming in it has swollen with no relief.  We had is lessening earlier this week but if flared up last night.  So its around the clock, cold cabbage leaves alternating with warm water Epson salt compresses.  We also would like to keep her relaxed and lots of activity raises her concern for her puppies who have just passed the one week mark.  Noriella and puppies are doing fine, but we do have to manage her inflammation. And I thought I was already tired…. 🙂
